A Big Year for the Warringah Printmakers Annual Exhibition

The Warringah Printmakers Studio Annual Exhibition is in full swing; and it’s already shaping up to be one of our most successful yet, with many prints finding new homes in the first week. As this year’s exhibition coordinator, it’s definitely kept me on my toes, but seeing the gallery filled with such diverse and thoughtful work makes it all worth it.

This end-of-year exhibition is a celebration of printmaking and community; showcasing the work of Warringah Printmakers Studio members across a wide range of techniques, from linocuts and etchings to drypoints and collagraphs. It’s a true highlight of the studio’s calendar and a chance to see just how much talent and creativity exists within our group.

The whole exhibition is organised by a volunteer committee, and it’s a massive team effort. From curation to gallery sitting, framing, sales and more, so many people are involved in bringing it to life; and that’s what makes it such a special, community-driven event.

I have two prints in the show this year, as well as a selection of hand-printed cards available, and it's been lovely to see people connecting with the work.

The exhibition runs until Sunday 9th November at Creative Space in North Curl Curl, and if you’re planning a visit, don’t miss the final weekend artist talks:
